Happ Inn is always good. The food is always creative and fresh. Nice wine list, too.
Our dinner last night was outstanding. Excellent service and the food was delicious. We didn't over order, so next time I go, I will try some other dishes. Calamari app. was perfect. Ordered chips and salsa, --3 separate salsas/pico d gallo, --very nice. They had a special (one each night), Monday is Chili Releno. I love this dish, and this was the best I've ever had. Good menu including gluten free options. Have eaten there 5-10 times, always good service and good food. Have enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Happs. Reservations are a good idea, particularly Friday and Saturday evenings.
I had heard of Happ Inn but never went there before. I went for a friend's birthday and she suggested it. I thought the menu was a bit limited but there were many things I was interested in. I ordered the chopped steak with veggies and mash potatoes. The chopped steak tasted grilled and I liked it very much. The grilled veggies were good. Always good food & service at Happ Inn. Have had lunch & dinner , very consistant.
We were a party of 3 and most of the food was ok although I think the quality has diminished over the years. One of the women in our party had ordered the fish & chips and her sweet potato fries were cold & had to be sent back. Also the breading on her fish was wet and greasy and she had to take the breading off and just eat the fish. My salad was ok and the third person in our party didn't complain about anything.
As usual, our dining experience at Happ Inn was very good!! We had a 2.5 year old toddler AND a 95 year old great grandmother with us - for a total guest list of 9. We ate in a very quiet room where we had the entire place to ourselves!! Service was spot on! Food (brunch and lunch entrees) was very good! Happ Inn is always our go-to restaurant when dining with family members of all ages!!
Always a solid go to place between high end and fast casual. Excellent burgers, great skirt steak, nice choice of appetizers.
