3 meals were fine. The fourth was fair. The ahi tuna salad was not rare or fresh. It was not prepared at the time I ordered but something that was made previously. The chai pudding dessert was supposed to have pudding in it but I could not find a teaspoonful.
Arrived 10 minutes early for a Tuesday 12:30 pm reservation. Drove around the parking lot for 20 minutes but no parking was available other than one hour limited spots. There were at least a dozen of these short term spots nearby, but who wants to take a chance when the police station is close at hand! Glad the Happ Inn is doing well but wish they'd provide sufficient parking. Won't be returning here any time soon....
Seated in back room which started great. Wait staff were inconsistent. First timely and then long wait to place order after drinks served. Although away from bar, large table next to us disruptive (kids running around table, loudly reacting to tv, etc). Have had previous much more enjoyable experiences. Food was very good but didn't match experience.
Celebrated a birthday for two family members, one hamburger had paper in the burger, skirts steak sandwich came out cold, veggie burger had an awful taste to it, nobody had a good meal... very disappointing experience after hearing good things about the happ inn
The receptionist could not find my reservation which i had made a week head. She upset my guests who arrived before I did.She finally located it near tbe bottom of her list.not a very good start.
Cold Very cool. Had to go outside to warm up
This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but they have changed their menu and raised their prices. Food is still good, but not great, as it used to be. Also, no bread before dinner and no salad or soup included with dinner. Worst for us is that they now use soybean oil and also have soy in hamburger buns and my wife is soy intolerant.
The wait person was very busy & therefore could not give good service . Food was mediocre at best. Hostess was rushed and therefore appeared cold & matter of fact, certainly not warn & inviting.
My son was served a burger with mold in the bun. It was gross and very unusual for Happ Inn as all our previous experiences were positive there. I hope their standards are not slipping. No manager came over to apologize even though they knew as they said “sorry” when we were walking out the door. Pretty disappointing visit overall.
