Verified Renter Great location, and easy access to public transportation. Additionally, Lakeshore Drive is two blocks south of the building, which is Awesome! The Mayfair Apartments have two elevators (1) Freight and (1) Passenger. This is extremely convenient and appreciated by all. Work requests are quickly and efficiently completed with professionalism. Verified Renter I am a new tenant in Mayfair Apartments. So far, I am enjoying my stay here. The location is very convenient when it comes to public transportation, groceries and restaurants. My issues and my concerns with my unit during my move are addressed by Sierra- the property Manager on timely manner. She’s doing her job well.

Verified Renter The manager here is professional, caring, friendly, and hard working. I always feel she (Sierra) takes my issues seriously and ensures they get taken care of properly. The maintenance crew are also friendly, competent, and helpful. I greatly appreciate them all. Thank you.

Verified Renter The Mayfairs are great for students and first time renters. Neighbors are mostly friendly and everything is walking distance if you don’t feel like driving or losing a good street park??. The building is old so some things are inevitable but it appears the new management are working to get it done.

Verified Renter The property manager is attentive to the needs of the tenants, and I do feel a level of safety here at the Mayfair. The rent though is extremely high!!
Verified Renter It is located extremely conveniently - close to the bus station, some grocery stores, and the metra. The building is generally maintained well and the studio apartment here is nice, with a nice kitchen area. The response to service requests is prompt and the management is generally helpful.
Verified Renter There are several reasons to reside at Mayfair. Friendly staff, clean lobby, responsive onsite management, quick repair service, excellent heat, safety, convenient shopping and travel and an overall friendly community.
Verified Renter Mayfair is an excellent place for living. I would say, it has one of the best locations in Hyde Park. Tons of restaurants, supermarkets, and salons are within 10 min walking distance. Management is also responsive and helpful.
