My cat Elda had stopped eating and was acting strange for a few days so I took her to a Vet's office in Webster Groves. After a 4 hour visit and a physical examination, x rays, an ultrasound, and blood diagnostics they sent me home saying that it was behavioral. A couple of days later I woke up and she was pretty much lethargic, cloudy eyes, still hiding, hadn't eaten in days. I took her to The Pet Doctor and gave them my number as a contact number. They took her as a drop off since we had no appointment. Minutes later, I re... read more

Marcy Hammerle and her staff are the most caring, patient, intuitive, and knowledgeable pet care providers I have ever encountered. They have always gone above and beyond when caring for my pooches. In many cases, Marcy knows what's wrong before the test results come back. We've been using The Pet Doctor for over 10 years now. We couldn't be happier and we wouldn't go elsewhere.

The Pet Doctor is the absolute best. We have been bringing our numerous dogs and cats there for years. The staff is amazing and so compassionate. We are located an hour away and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I brought in my undocumented two year old "puppy" I got off craigslist. I mistakenly arrived an hour early and they were able to get me in without too long of a wait. Staff was friendly and they even offered water for me and my pet. Dr. Marcy went above and beyond my expectations with her willingness to work with me and my tight budget. I'm soo glad that I did not take my new furry friend to one of the impersonal big box stores-I may have saved a few dollars but Dr. Marcy was ultimately the better value. And now I have ... read more

Started taking my dogs here after a recommendation from a friend. The staff is super friendly, they run on times for their appointments and the doctor has been extremely compassionate and caring for my dog that has congestive heart failure. Would highly recommend The Pet Doctor!

Dr. Marcy and Dr. Kelly are compassionate and skilled and thorough individuals who obviously chose the right profession. This is shown in the way they interact with and listen to patients, ask relevant questions, formulate diagnoses, administer treatments and treat/hire their staff. Everyone is so welcoming, that walking in is like coming into a gathering at a friend's house. If the front office is empty, someone immediately pops in. If the ladies happen to be behind the desk talking, they immediately stop, look up at us... read more

Dr. Marcy and her technicians work very hard. They are all helpful and always put the owner and their pet first. This team of intelligent people work every day to bring people compassion and top notch animal care. I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone other then these wonderful people.

Dr Marcy has been caring for my critters since she opened her doors for business. I have never received anything but honest options to provide the best health care that I can personally afford for my pets. I am forever grateful to be "heard" by Dr Marcy when ever I'm worried about one of my fur-kids, it doesn't matter how silly my worries may sound either, she's still listening:). Having been a client this long, I can say that I am continuously impressed by Dr Marcy's never ending desire to stay with the current times and pu... read more

Dr. Hammerle and Dr. Hogan are both top-notch veterinarians, who strive to improve the level of care your animal(s) receive. The support staff are amazing as well! No matter the reason for your visit, they are prompt to address the problem with amazing detail and care. I have taken many animals to The Pet Doctor, and have never had a bad experience. I would recommend their services to anyone in a heartbeat!
