Dr Houston is an excellent vveterinarian. Very thorough and concerned about not only the health of your per, but their entire well being. My dog is small and a rescue. He was very helpful in giving advice on making our relationship the best and not letting her be just another crazy small dog.
As always, Dr. Houston and his staff provide the best care for my pet. Dr. Houston takes the time to explain diagnosis and offers many options of treatment. Unlike other Vets I have had experience with, Dr. Houston does not foist unnecessary tests and treatments. He is upfront and his only concern is for me and my pets.

Dr. Houston, Dr. Dowd, and the entire staff are simply wonderful. They manage to make you feel that your pet is as special to them as she or he is to you. I've had pets for 63 years, and The Pet Hospital is the best vet hospital I have ever used.
I did not have to wait. They were ready at scheduled appointment time. Everyone is so nice and helped carry my cats. The cats were very good with everyone and they all treated them gently and spoke to them a little before trying to pick them up. Dr Dowd is amazing with my toy poodle. I love how she interacts with her on a personal level rather than just a doctor. We've been going to Tierrasanta Vet for over 12 years with all of our rescue dogs and Dr. Houston and Dr. Dowd have been exceptional vets.
After our dog was attacked by 3 bulldogs that had run out of their house, we didn't notice any bite marks until later. We called and you told us to bring him right in. His treatment was superb as well as the follow up care. After a restless night, Wobus is more like his old self/
