I have been with Dr. French of The Ridge Animal Hospital for about 25 years. He has known and cared for 5 of my dogs during this time. I currently live 3 hours away from Farmville, and make the 6 hour round trip to bring my current furbaby to see him. That should tell you something about how I feel about the doctors and staff!
What a compassionate and caring bunch of people at The Ridge AH. We took our sweet puppy in today for an emergency and we were so impressed by the quality of care both the puppy and I received. They went above and beyond what I expected. The puppy is on the mend. Thank you!
Dr French is awesome and caring! couldn't ask for a better vet and Kelly the office manager is awesome!

Some of the best and nicest customer service I've gotten! Dropped our baby off this morning for surgery got called as soon as she was done saying everything went well. She is staying overnight and they assured me that she is going to be well taken care of!
Ridge Animal Hospital is a caring and wonderful place! They have cared for all my dogs and I would not dream of taking them anywhere else. They never force a treatment on you but rather discuss every aspect of your pets care and inform you so the best possible decision can be reached regarding next steps in your pet's care. This place is great! I've asked some silly questions since my cat Orion was diagnosed with diabetes on New Year's Eve 2014 and the two vets who help me care for my cat, Drs. French and Shepard have answered them all! While the vet who diagnosed and initially started him on insulin, Dr. Geary, passed away soon after helping to save Orion's life, she will be forever remembered in my heart.
