The Terraces at Via Verde has been everything I was looking for in a care facility. Everyone there has been welcoming, helpful, and most of all compassionate and supportive. Days are filled with activities and interactions. Communication is continuous. A special thank you to [names removed] for everything they have done and continue to do!
I have nothing to compare it with. This is all new to me. My overall experience, I've been very happy with the overall facility.. The people are very helpful. And I give the care people ALOT of credit for doing what they do....I was taking care of 1 person w/ dementia/Parkinson's/ sundowners/ Lewy bodies.... And i couldn't do it any more... they have a whole floor of them... I'm very grateful to them....The food looks really healthy, and they keep track of the different meals very well.... They do a great job with mom. They specialize in memory care, meaning they only have memory care patients. After experiencing three types of service and facilities in this industry over the last six years I feel it's important that a facility focusing on memory care only is more effective in many aspects of this type of care itself. I really like The Terraces. [Name Removed], who is the sales director, was so kind and compassionate and knowledgeable. I told him that he was a bright light in the middle of the dark journey that we were traveling with my Mom. My mother was in the secured unit, where she had a private room. It was wonderful how she was able to bring in her own furnishings, with the electric bed furnished by the facility. We were so pleased with the extraordinary staff. There was such friendly staff, Greeting her and meeting her needs as if she was their Mother. The Terraces is a clean and beautiful facility. Oscar greeted me with such warmth. He is a bright light in the middle of navigating a dark tunnel for your loved one. He was so kind, compassionate, and interested in hearing about my Mom, who needs placement. We are praying that Mom will be able to become a resident there. Thank you.
They are so caring and sincere. There are so many activities and they genuinely keep my dad happy and busy. Or if he's tired they cater to him and help him back to his room. He is vegetarian and although he's the only vegetarian they go out of their way to make accommodations with all the meals. They keep posted daily with photos through the app life loop! It's great. The caregivers I have a relationship with are overwhelmed. And I have an issue with the cleanliness of her bathroom, which makes me question her sanitary care. I find her hamper full most of the time. But the caregivers I encounter, I like, but they are overwhelmed.

The client, care giver ratio, is extraordinarily perfect !! She had such exceptional supervision . She knew the staff well, in her simple recognition, with patience, kindness respect and a smile !! Staff kept the out of state family informed, at all times . The coordinator staff person was always available with detailed reports for the families comfort and 100% confidence .
