Working with this business was above average----and so very close to exceptional. We were disappointed that when a second payment was due, we were called the evening before with a reminder. Payment by credit card over the telephone was an additional charge. Although we signed a contract and knew the terms, this was conducted many months prior to the installment being due. The wildwood was the perfect place for the exact wedding I wanted. We had a beautiful outside wedding and the pictures turned out wonderful with all the greenery outside. The service and coordinating was very good.
The Wildwood Inn is an exceptional place to have a wedding for a small to medium size party ~0-75 guests. The staff was very professional and the food was fabulous. The Wildwood Inn has performed several weddings there in the past and is very knowledgeable of how to make the entire process go smoothly. The food they provided was excellent and received several lovely comments both in taste and presentation.
The Wildwood Inn took care of every aspect of our wedding for us. We had our wedding ceremony outside in the backyard and it was a beautiful and comfortable setting for our guests. It was a July wedding so the guests we set up under the patio cover with fans going. I heard no complaints. This was a one stop have it all venue! One cost and you recieved the cermoney and reception. Included was also the food decorations, and a planner to help make everything run smoothly on your big day, and i might add everything did run perfect! The planner worked with me months and months to get everything right and then on the big day i had nothing to worry about except walking down the aisle. Also the place is beautiful! I strongly recommend this place!
This company is screwing couples who already booked their wedding with them. They will not reschedule any weddings (unless mandated by the government) despite the known risks of any gatherings of 10+ people. They will not issue any refunds either, claiming this pandemic is an "act of God" and they are not obligated to do so. They are forcing brides to sign NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) for ANY resolution. There is a class action lawsuit against them in progress. The health and safety of individuals is at extreme risk at these venues during the COVID19 pandemic. They are truly putting the health of many people at risk during this unprecedented time. On top of that, they say they are taking precautionary measures, but fail to provide a safe environment on the dance floor/ during the reception. Do not hire. First, they make you sign a back breaking contract as if they own your wedding day. They treat the operating agreement as if they are doing a billion dollar business transaction with a low credit partner. Walters Weddings have caused more stress than a worldwide pandemic. Up until the wedding we had amazing service. When the wedding came, the woman I had spoke to all along was not the planner at the wedding. So many of the plans we made for the day of were not executed properly. We had a table missing so I did not have enough seating for my final guest count.
