First, I thank God for this opportunity to go to Belize through the church that my wife and I attend and also through Thirst Missions. Thank you to the staff of Thirst Missions and Metchurch for all the hard work that God had delivered on. I know that seeds have been planted in peoples' lives during the entire stay. Thirst Missions provided an outstanding opportunity to grow in faith and to be shaped by the Holy Spirit while serving God’s people in Alaska. The mission trip allowed me to see fire of the Holy Spirit working in the people we served as well as those of us on the mission team. We spent the mornings engaged with our new friends on recognizing and developing spiritual gifts, and then worked in the afternoons on various projects like building barn doors, repairing buildings, or landscaping the facilities.
