Tom was extremely responsive always answering his phone promptly. I didn’t have to worry about the lending side of things in his hands, which I can’t say for all lenders. Also a nice guy, and good conversation. Tom did a great job, and I know our client James was very happy with the entire transaction as a whole.

I was sad I didn’t lock in at 7.5%. I signed so many docs that I wasn’t sure if I locked in and found out I hadn’t. The interest rate was 7.75% by the time we lock in the rate. I’m disappointed in that, but with everything going on in my life, it’s no wonder I forgot.

I feel that Tom could have been more communicative, especially as we were looking at locking in rates. He rarely communicated with my significant other who was also involved in the purchase. Several mistakes were made along the way that Tom should have caught before sending them on to me, and it was largely my responsibility to question them. Our financial advisor recommended that we contact Tom regarding a mortgage refinance. He was very informative and asked about our goals for the home. That question prompted us to sell the large house and downsize due to our mid-sixties age. We sold in 3 days, with 7 weeks to move. Tom began qualifying us for a new loan. One week later we found a solid smaller home across the street from our life-long best friends. Tom cleared all of the loan information and we moved in 2 weeks ago!!!
