A little backstory is we moved and left an amazing vet in Uptown. We found Total Bond where we live now. At first they were great, that was several years ago. Lately they've been going down hill. Every time we are in there the front desk always seems so unhappy and not wanting to be there. We have a very old cat and every time we bring her in, there seems to be an issue with the vet. One of the latest is they messed up on ordering the correct blood panels so we were told they would redo them in several weeks, free of charge.... read more

I called and made a grooming appointment over a week in advance. I was placed on hold for literally 20 minutes just for her to 'check on the price', which was quoted at $75. I arrived for the appointment and was told my dog wasn't on their calendar AT ALL. Furthermore, they didn't even have a groomer there that day, just a bather. After I complained that I could (and would) have scheduled an appointment elsewhere for that day because I would not be able to reschedule right away due to my schedule, they agreed to 'fit him in'... read more

So disappointed- after spending money for an exam & grooming- my dog was shaved with a zero razor & he was raw. I was told he had a level 4 heart murmur. Told the test would be $350. I was concerned about an ear infection- & was told he was fine. There groomer also told me just keep his ears clean. Took him for a second opinion- dog had NO heart murmur- his right ear was really infected & dirty!

They took advantage of my 74 year old mother by selling her a kitty package that she can't afford and does not need. I called and spoke with the office manager about cancelling the package and they want to charge her a $50 cancellation fee which once again stated she is a senior citizen on a fixed income and they still would not remove the charges.

I will NEVER go back to Total Bond. Communication is HORRIBLE! By far the worst experience I have EVER had in communicating with a business. And after our first boarding experience, I strongly believe that they neglected our dogs while they were being boarded. I also believe that they lied about treatments provided for our dogs; they claimed they provided flea medication, but when our dogs returned home from boarding AND grooming, they had fleas. They did not have fleas before spending the weekend at Total Bond. More detail ... read more

Business response:

Hi Miriam, I am very sorry to hear about your negative experiences. I am Dr Bishop, the new Hospital Director at TotalBond Paw Creek and I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss your experiences with you. I can assure you that in our current protocols, all pets are checked for fleas upon entry to our hospital and those who have fleas are given a Capstar at that time. We do also walk all boarding pets at least three times per day. Please contact me at our hospital at (704)827-7422 or by email at paw.creek@totalbondvets.... read more

I do not recommend. Let's just say my experiences were not good. My animals have received much much much better care elsewhere. They were diagnosed with conditions at other vet and treated aggressively which was never done at paw creek. Dr CArnevale is rude to staff and total bond euthanized several healthy animals that lived there due to taking up space and using resources. Do not recommend AT ALL.
