My only complaint is that the 2-seater tables are RIGHTNEXT to one another - barely enough room to get into the banquette seating, much less have a 2-person conversation without the neighbors being involved.

Trattoria is our “go-to” restaurant in New York, whenever we want a quality place to dine. We know the food will be excellent, the service professional, and the spirit uplifting.
Really good food and service- -delicious salmon and the best cannolis I’ve had outside Italy. It’s very active and not quiet, but really fun.
The food here is excellent. Its very authentic Italian. The three meat Ragu and the meatballs were delicious, and the gluten free pizza was the best.
The food we ordered was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. The service at Trattatoria Dell’Arte is first class. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful, friendly and attentive. Front of house was welcoming and extremely helpful. I would recommend this restaurant. Plus it is in great proximity to Carnegie Hall.

A New York institution. Always gracious. Always delicious food. A bustling Italian ristorante that always satisfies. If you haven't had their thin crust margherita pizza,you're missing out. We came late after a Broadway show and they were accommodating. Love it. Been going for years. One of my favorite places to dine in NYC.
Always a wonderful experience dining here. Attentive waiters and delicious food all organized professionally to get you out and to your show at Carnegie Hall or City Center on time. This time we shared the Tagliatelle with beef ragu and the eggplant parm. The pasta was incredible and the eggplant parm was so light and flavorful. Highly recommend!
