What a pleasure to return to one of my special restaurants in New York City. Meeting Marco was wonderful . He managed to seat me & my guest at my favorite table. The appetizer goat cheese /tomato bruschetta & my main course - ravioli filled with mozzarella was delicious. Our server - Honey - was a delightful. This was the best dining experience in the City on our recent visit. Gen was our waitperson, and he perfectly paced our meal, made excellent suggestions, and caused our evening of celebration to be the best ever. The food was delicious, plated beautifully and served at the appropriate temperatures. The Maitre d' and Gen ensured that our anniversary was appropriately celebrated, starting with a welcoming glass of champagne and culminating with a stupendous dessert with a sparkler in it! Love the restaurant as a top choice for pre-theater dining. Or anytime! We really enjoyed the restaurant week menu. The shrimp scampi is outstanding. Large, partial shell-on grilled shrimp have a wonderful char served over perfectly cooked spinach and polenta. Sauce on the bottom keeps this healthy and light. The house made, fresh cannoli are truly worth the calories.
