DO NOT USE - trust me I have used 4 other moving companies in Austin. I used Two Men and Truck to move in December - they were late, had mechanical problems, got into an accident, caused property damage at my building, damaged my own personal items, forgot items on truck, smoked cigarettes, forgot credit card machine - just very unprofessional. They offered me very minimal compensation for this horrendous (yet comical) experience: $6 for my damaged property, waived travel fee, and only charged for 2 out of the 4.5 hours... read more
Beware!! Quote given is NOT what they charge!! 3 men two1/2 hours $380 is what I was told!! What I got ....Two men..my son HAD to help!! For $500!! Movers worked hard but constantly reminded us that they only make $14 dollars a hour. After being totally lied to on quote, movers asked if we could give them a bigger tip??
Completely negligent movers. Didn't pad or tie down anything. Ruined several thousand dollars in bedroom furniture and feels that refunding the payment made is settlement enough? What a joke of a company. I will be filing complaints everywhere that I can about this horrible company.
**************WARNING************* THEY WILL NOT PAY REPLACEMENT COSTS FOR FURNITURE THAT THEY BREAK!! I was so disappointed, they came highly recommended and the guys seemed really friendly! When the movers came we asked them if we needed to take the clothes out of the dresser, they said "no, it wouldn't be a problem". During the move they broke a structural piece of my dresser. Worst service ever. They abuse our Furniture and the two guys couldn't even lift the main furniture for my business. After everything was said and done they didnt even try to make things right. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
We moved from outside of austin to outside of bryan tx. Movers complained that should have had 2 trucks because office bud the job wrong. After we were moved and unpacking I found several scratches on furniture which was not a huge deal but I was missing a bag of change. When someone called to see how the move went my wife told them about the missing change and they said we were not supposed to have any valuables on the night stands. I've moved 20 times and NEVER had such a horrendous experience. NO ONE from this franchise will help. Franchise owner is non responsive. We were told our load would take 4 hours on a 26 foot truck. It is a 1300 mile long distance move. Instead this franchise SOLD the move without our knowledge after telling us local guys would do it and fly back. Instead 2 guys from Minneapolis arrive and take 10.5 hours to load. The best part????? They left a single garage FULL of our belongings that they couldn't get on the truck ... read more
Worst moving experience ever. You won't believe what happened to me. As a matter of fact, the things I had to endure were so ridiculous, that the manager of the TMT branch refused to call me back and when I finally got on the phone, he said absolutely nothing. He even gave ME an attitude. Wow. First off, I gave a completely ACCURATE quote over the phone.
