University Animal Hospital is a full service, small animal veterinary hospital located in East Orlando which has served the UCF, Winter Park, Oviedo and Union Park areas since 1991. We are certified by the American Animal Hospital Association and provide medical, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and dental services. We have in-house laboratory, radiology and pharmacy services for your convenience and to better care for your pet’s needs.

We love University Animal Hospital. We have quite the Zoo! 5 Cats and 2 Dogs. All of our pets come here for care and grooming. We couldn’t recommend the team enough. Compassionate, knowledgeable and warm. 5 stars!

They are dedicated, kind, caring. They go above and beyond to help animals and their guardians. We have been with them since the early 1990's. They showed their love and care again today. My thanks to them all for helping our Daisy May cross the Rainbow Bridge. They were as torn up as we were. Good people who deserve the best that life can bring them. Thank you.

I absolutely love this place. I bring my cat and my puppy here and never had any problems. Love how they treat there customers and how the love the pets. They are so lovely. The health plans are awesome and cheap. Every time I call to get a prescription or get some information they are always super nice.

My pets mean the world to me so, naturally, I would want the very best medical care for all of them. Over the years we have been to quite a few vet offices attempting to find that care and none have compared to the care given by Dr. Allen Privette and his staff at University Animal Hospital. I recently ran into a situation with one of my pups who is a rescue. She has multiple complex health challenges that require lifelong treatment. We had been turned away from two previous vets as her medical issues were too much for them to handle. She became very sick and was in a lot of pain. The care, compassion, knowledge, and professionalism displayed by Dr. Privette was second to none. He spent a considerable amount of time examining, researching, making calls to previous vets, and ensuring that I fully understood the care instructions. He took the time with a dog who has justifiable trust issues to make her comfortable enough to tolerate a full exam. My dog is now able to live her “best life” thanks to Dr. Privette. From the warm welcome from the ladies at the front desk and easy online scheduling, to the clean, professional, caring and compassionate environment, you cannot ask for a better vet to take your fur-baby to! If you are looking for someone that will truly care for your pet, you will find that with Dr. Allen Privette!

We have been clients for >10 years. Dr Privette is knowledgeable and down to earth. Investigates and answers all our concerns thoroughly. Front desk and Vet techs are pleasant, and efficient. Glad we found them.

We’ve been bringing our dog here for about 3 years, after transferring from a Baldwin Park-area vet. University Animal Hospital is always so accommodating and kind to get us in with short notice. The veterinarians are excellent and caring toward your pet - I would recommend this place! :)
