Dr. Rendler is awful. After long waits in dark and dingy patient rooms, he has rushed through every single visit he's ever had with my daughter. On a number of occasions, I have had to inconvenience him with questions. He doesn't like questions, nor will he give you thorough answers. Rush rush rush! Always a rush! This place was a huge disappointment, to say the least. Our time at this practice started off wonderfully. Dr. Rendler came to the hospital to meet the baby and do his first exam and we loved him and his energy. It all went downhill from there. Our son is two months old. Unfortunately, my husband who is an active duty Naval officer, had spent a month and a half out to sea after baby was born and I was unable to enroll my son in a program that handles medical insurance. Let me preface this by saying I work in healthcare. Oh boy, where do I begin? It took almost two weeks just to get ahold of someone to make an appointment. I called everyday for 8 days and left messages when I was prompted. Only once did they return my call. Receptionist was great, checked me in fast and was friendly. The nurse was fine too. Terrible office and doctor. They were very unprofessional on every level. They front desk staff held multiple conversations and answered phone calls in mid- sentence. The nurse left me holding my Toddler and new born in my arms for five minutes while she attended to another issue mid walking me to the exam room. The doctor had no skills putting children at ease with exams. He was really useless. My son had a fever he stated " I don't know what that is about". I used to like taking my daughter here, but not anymore. I have been here several times, & almost every single time, the front desk staff was really rude. I understand that they get busy with making appointments and dealing with insurance, but professionalism is always something that they need to deliver. A couple of the nurses are nice and the doctors are definitely nice, but I think it's definitely the ladies at the front desk that are impolite and impatient. I am a new mother and didn't really know the process of having a baby and seeing a pediatrician after the birth of my son. These doctors came to the hospital after my birth to check on my baby for what I thought was a standard/necessary visit. They also said I was required to come to their office for his 2 day check up. I was not aware that I would have to pay for his hospital visit or told this upon him coming into the room to check on my baby or else I would have had my own pediatrician come. Poway's DMV had less wait time 2-1/2 hours for nothing.The receptionist was rude to the other staff members and didn't know how to use their office program. She made us a appointment for a newborn and the doctor was on vacation so it was a complete waist of time and I now we have to find another office that can get us in on short notice. Seems like insurance fraud to book an appointment and bill the insurance company for services you didn't provide. I'd rate it 0 stars if that was allowed.

Service is horrible and Doctors could do a better job listening. I GUARANTEE I am not going overboard. I have seen many other patients also treated horribly. The Dr's are ball-less and have no control over their extremely unprofessional staff. Don't look elsewhere, RUN!!!
