My dog started having stomach problems while on vacation. Went to a local animal hospital and waited for two and a half hours before deciding I just couldn't wait any longer. Called VCAH beside myself, and the staff was caring and concerned. Took all my information and Dr. Collins called me back within the hour. Gave me instructions and calmed my fears. Thankfully, our dog Bailey is feeling much better! Thank you to all the staff.
Today we had a terrible thing happen to our 15+ year old cat: a blood clot caused his rear legs to completely give out. The prognosis was not good and there was to be only one outcome. The Dr. and staff were very compassionate, understanding, and professional. This all happened so fast and VCAH treated my entire family and cat with respect. Thank you all for helping us through this very sad event.

Had an emergency with our dog today and thank God for this hospital, after several phone calls and the help of a Clarkstown police officer and an animal control officer we were finally able to get my dog to this vet. My boy was very well treated and that really set me at ease, the staff here is very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend them to any pet owner who is in need of veterinary care.
I highly recommend the Valley Cottage Animal Hospital. I have been bringing all my pets there since I was 18 and my pet and I were always treated professionally and with care. My cat is there right now and everyone of the associates there are very caring to him and Myself! I would highly recommended VCAH!!!
