Love, love, love VCAH! I have a 14 month old newfie who has recently had a couple of health issues. I cannot be more satisfied with the care that Tully has gotten. Dr. Downing always gets back to me with any questions and manages to allay any of my fears. The office staff is great.... very professional and willing to do whatever is necessary to get Tully the best care. If I think I need to come in to be seen by a vet, they do their best to get me in as quickly as possible. Tully loves going to VCAH! He races in and ge... read more

I have you VCAH since Dr. Petro opened in the A&P shopping center. I've had many dogs and used other veterinarians before Dr. Petro. I immediately felt the care and concern from him and the doctors that he has brought on. I've never been disappointed. Some may say they are more expensive than other animal hospitals but they are open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. For that I am very grateful as I have been there at all hours. I do not feel I was ever talked into something that maybe didn't need to be done. I also have to... read more

The incredibly warm and skilled staff at VCHS do a fantastic job with our anxious, skittish dog. Despite her efforts to hide or escape, they always manage to gently coax her through every exam and provide the best possible care without ever losing patience. Highest recommendation!
