This is a spectacular community. If I have a choice in a Williamsburg place, this is it. The staff is personable, the apartments are top notch, and the surrounding area is quiet and natural. That combined with great dining facilities, an activities room for movies, a salon, and more, they are worth the tour.
Dad has been living here for over 5 years and our family is thankful to have found Verena At The Reserve. The staff is great and goes out of their way to make him feel at home. The food is delicious and the menu each day offers a good variety of hot and cold/heavy and light meals from which he can choose. A beautiful place with beautiful people. I live overseas so it is a great comfort to know dad is with friends. Thanks for all you do!
My mother has been there for over four years. It is by far the nicest facility in the area. It was new when she moved in. The staff is kind and caring beyond what it expected of independent living. Eating there is like going out for lunch as you have many choices. No question-you cannot bet the price anywhere else.

We recently retired and will be moving to Williamsburg in November with our mom. After working with A Place for Mom and touring 4 independent living communities, we decided on The Verena for her. The building, services and amenities are outstanding. Mom is currently living in her own house and the size of the 2 bedroom apartment was the perfect balance of down-sizing without losing important space for visitors from out of town. On two previous independent visits to Verena at the Reserve I was so impressed by the residents and the staff. Then when my father recently asked about senior living options in Williamsburg, I suggested he look at Verena. Barbara Bane gave us a super tour and has been very helpful as we plan his transition to an apartment. Verena at the Reserve is a lovely facility and the residents are very friendly and the food is delicious. Very excited with my dad's choice!

Things have been going very well at Verena! My loved one seems very happy here! It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and is a very open and airy feeling community. The staff have all been very friendly, and they do a great job with the care and amenities they provide the residents. I've also heard good things about the food!
