This is my favorite restaurant in Astoria, hands down. The food, the service, the outside that they built so us New Yorkers can still enjoy a restaurant, they have knocked it out of the park. If you have not yet tried this place, you absolutely should. The artichoke appetizer, burrata with basil and or figs, the plain spaghetti with spicy tomato sauce....the basics have never tasted better.

Really outstanding new normal safe setup. Best I've seen in Astoria, and thru NYC really. Best choice for Christmas Eve dinner w the pod.
Arrived at restaurant and told them I have a reservation. The manager (maybe owner) did not ask my name. He took us to a two seater, but it was right next to another party of two. We hesitated and said asked if we could sit at another table. The guy said sure sit wherever you want. Given COVID and the fact that there were not other parties (4 empty tables of four), we moved to a 4 seater. The food was great, staff were friendly & the food was great. I’ll be coming back one day.
Pasta was amazing, but the staff was even better! Will definitely return when I am flying into LGA.
My sister’s birthday
The owner made a huge fuss about having a laptop on my table. I had an emergency documents to send and phone was not an option. They are lucky I paid for the food and not walk out there. NEVER coming back here or ordered food her. Been a good customer for years and brought people here. Feel sorry for the staff.
