I wish i was aware of this site sooner - working in theater costumes we don’t always have time to make Victorian dresses so having a good selection of purchasable items of good quality AND A GOOD RANGE OF LARGER SIZES is very important. I wish there was a 4XL option as well though, even if in limited quantities, or a customizable option for larger than 3XL sizes.
I've gained weight since my purchase last year so I reached out to VC to purchase the same dress in the next size up. It was not available so I choose an alternative. Beautiful, yet not my favorite color (black) but it would do for the occasion. Unfortunately the sizing and fit between the two different styles of the dresses is not the same and the newly ordered dress was way too big even accounting for one size up. Sadly I had to return it.
