Don't be afraid to wash the gowns that are all cotton, in the washer, on gentle, cold wash, cold rinse. I did this with one of my favorites because it had seen too many Halloween events, photo shoots around horses, and lots of sweating down here in the South. Had to do something! It came out perfectly fine. I fluffed it in a slightly warm drier, the hung it up in my air conditioned bedroom to finish drying.
