I loved using Victorian choice for my theatre production because they have a wide range of styles and sizes. I needed dressier civil war gowns as well as a simple item and they have all you could need. They also shipped fast and offered returns which is always nice for working on a theatre production.
The website is excellent. The return policy has the extra step of getting authorization prior to sending an item back, I can do that! I do wish you had more clothing for various eras and that the tops and skirts for certain outfits were sold separatley. I have three full outfits from Victorian Choice including a Victorian coat and a beautiful top hat with a long ivory scarf. I love the look, quality, and price of these clothes!
I decided that, since the first dress I ordered was too big in the shoulders and too long, I would order one size smaller and compare the two in the mirror once the second dress got here. So I contacted Customer Service by email to see if that strategy was OK. They didn’t answer the same day, but by the next day they answered my email saying that strategy was OK. I only wish it had been possible to call them on the phone instead of emailing.

Although they didn’t have my size I got a size bigger and hemmed it. The skirt is of great quality and I was the only one at the Charles dickens fair at the Cow Palace that had it! Wonderful quality! I only wanted the skirt part so it was a great buy!
