We had a very nice birthday dinner with girlfriends. I would say it’s better suited for a date night, but still a great night.
It is a gem in a quiet Indianapolis neighborhood. The food is superb and ambiance is very pleasant. It was worth the trip from Bloomington. The staff is knowledgeable and went out of the way to accommodate our preferences (for example, gluten free).
My wife and I loved Vida. The food was creative and incredibly good. It is most definitely a notch above a vast majority of restaurants in Indy. The service was also top-notch. I have some restrictions in my diet and the waiter made absolutely sure to accommodate them. He even went above and beyond to check with me multiple times to ensure there were no issues. If you want a very nice and delicious night out then this is the place!
Duck was outstanding!
I dreamed that I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant in Paris. I woke up and was dining Vida — a sophisticated downtown Indy restaurant. Extraordinary flavors creative and not too complex. The ambiance, service and food all come together at Vida to give you an amazing dining experience.
Very creative, very tasty. The staff was wonderful -- patient, kind, and attentive. I would definitely eat here again. Highly recommended!

This is the best dining experience I have had in Indianapolis. The value for the quality of food is second to none. My wife and I shared eight courses between us. Everyone of them was fabulous. I cannot wait to go back.
I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars, but Vida definitely deserves it! I've eaten here for business meals in the past and was always pleased with the service and food. Took my husband for our anniversary and he absolutely loved it. Quite casual, yet upscale environment. Food is fresh, creative and well done. The duck is the best I've had. The surrounding area doesn't feel like downtown and parking is easy with the option for valet. Will return again and again - Vida is without question, our favorite Indy restaurant!
