I don't get why there are so many negative reviews. I went there about three or four years ago I was about 14 I think I was in there for five months and got an early discharge due to insurance reasons but anyway I was in both maple and oak cabin and honestly out of the four institutions I've been to this was was the best and helped the most. My nephew was a patient here for 3 1/2 months and I will say it takes a lot to run a facility with high turnover rates and to deal with children with several behavior struggles as well as alcohol use or even history of self harm. I myself am a social worker and work mental health so I see several behavior daily in my line of work, but never have been to a facility like this that is poorly managed not to mention what I was told on how my nephew was treated at the facility if I could give it a negative star I definitely would.... read more

i went to the village last year in october when i was 15 n spent my 16th birthday in there, i will b 17 next week and if i didnt come here when i did i would have been dead, i’ve struggled with self harm and suicidal ideations pretty much my whole life and then as i started comin into my teen years i started struggling with drugs and alcohol, i have been sober from everything since the day i got out, alot of people have alot of bad things to say but if you allow them to help without putting up a fight or acting out your gonn... read more

I have 2 children who have had time spent at VBH. They have recieved great care from their theropist and made good bonds with the cabin crew. Due to insurance we we re discharged sooner than expecred but wirh the help and therpy for the 2 months we have high hopes for a better future.

went here when i was 14, worst expierience ever. if i was having an episode they would hold my arms, legs, head, and torso down, and i almost had my thumb broken from being held down. staff there brought thc vapes in and smoked them around us, if the maple cabin wasnt acting right they would get punishments in forms of food.
