Anyone who's experienced the evils of this place all of you together contact lawyers an sue this place for every abuse u endured at their hands!!
I went here and the only reason it looks like it helped is bc they scare us shit less if we don't do what they want we could get our stuff taken and thrown away.the nova program director is a problem she would take kids stuff over little stuff and every person there hated her guts, she would hold peoples progress back bc they didn't like her, and the one good thing I have to say is the supervisors where amazing people I loved them, they had to and still do deal with people's shit. The program director would treat staff like s... read more
There are no good things I can say about Village Behavioral Health. My grandchild was in crisis when admitted and stayed in crisis for most of the time while there. Here's a short list of problems--bullying, lack of supervision, understaffed, not enough therapists, kids were self-harming because of lack of eyes on them, and an acute medical problem was ignored for almost 5 days because no physician was available. there’s hope, but not at the village. They abuse and mistreat patients. Many years later and I’m still very traumatized from my experience there.
Gabriella stewart I went here about 3 years ago it was tarible I felt trapped like a couldn't it felt like every bit of sanity of mine was leaving me I aventouly got worse and when I left I felt tarible they let me do what ever I wanted kids were running away with boys and doing bad stuff I recommend to not send your kid here this place is bad
Awful, traumatic, abusive. I spent 18 months there. I've heard of breaking people down to build them back up, but they gleefully broke us down, never to build us back up. "Therapy" consisted of goading and insulting us into confessing whatever they wanted us to say, true or not. We were totally isolated with no support, and our only interactions with eachother were "confronting" eachother - basically trying to catch others breaking the rules and and announcing it so they could be punished, they constantly played us against ... read more
When outpatient services seem inadequate to address in home behaviors and you feel as if your child needs behaviors not only addressed but documented, this is not the place. Do not convince yourself that despite bad reviews the offering of EDMR,DBT,and Equine therapy all in one place outweigh these reviews as I did. My daughter spent 6 Mos at this facility and she had zero improvement in the specific behaviors I admitted her to this program for. She actually developed self harm and suicidal thoughts while here. There is no ... read more
