The facility was clean but appeared dated with 90s style draperies in the dining area. The rooms were bright and tidy. Everyone greeted me and was friendly. The one bedroom unit was very tiny. The guide said the flooring had just been replaced and that finishing touches weren't done, yet. Also, that new appliances would be replacing the very outdated refrigerator and microwave.

If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, they will not allow you to visit residents. They require a COVID test at the main reception but even with a negative test result you are denied entry.
I wouldn't recommend Prestige Assisted Living. There is a lack of follow through, and they don't do what they say they will do. I don't feel they deliver on what they said they would. My loved ones were here for a short amount of time.

She also was very hard of hearing so we bought ear plugs for her to plug into the TV so she could hear. When we went to the community one day, we realized the ear plugs were in the medicine cabinet. They were never given to our loved one.
We have removed our mother from Prestige. When I would notify them that I was picking her up and ask for her wheelchair, they would never have it. We would have to wait while they went back to her room and got it. This happened at least 3x. They complained she turned the TV up too loud. We purchased bluetooth headphones. When we took her out, they had never installed them (over a month later) they were in the medication room. We couldn't due to coronavirus. When I took her to therapy and she was given exercises to do, they c... read more
For the long run I think it's okay. But it depends on the day. As far as watching her progress. I know it's not skilled nursing, but I would like to know if we need to move her up in care levels. When I look at 5,000 dollars a month, I don't feel like I'm getting that. I'm not real happy with them right now.
