I was googling for information and came across your website. The page about Tortoise care came up. As I read I discovered a lot of outdated information. Recommending the wrong heat source, wrong uv lights, wrong substrate, wrong foods. I know vets are busy and can not keep up with the care required for every reptile species they see. But this is just plain bad advise. Check out Reptile Lighting group please. And The Tortoise Table website.

I’ve been taking my dog and cat here since I moved to the area 6 years ago (and when I adopted my cat about 2 years ago). Recently my cat wasn’t eating and was very lethargic. I took her to the emergency vet (it was a Sunday when I decided to take her in after about 3 days of her not eating) that was recommended on Warren Woods’ voicemail. Front desk is downright awful. I have been coming here for years and I’m sadden to see how much service has dropped. We have a puppy that is not responding to meds and can’t talk to a doctor. The doctor calls back hours later 8:00 pm my husband works at nights and can’t receive calls at that time with no call back information. Very disappointed that I will have to find a new vet after 12 years due to a awful front desk
