Very pleased, had an emergency retinal detachment and Dr Reiss and his staff got me into surgery right away. My vision is excellent now, highly recommended.

I have been going to Dr Reiss for eye injections for several months now and my experience has been very positive. His staff are very friendly and professional, it is very easy to get an appointment, and I have much less pain than my previous retinal specialist. Would highly recommend.
Dr Reiss is empathetic, reliable, and professional. He has extensive knowledge in his field, and puts his patients’ health as the top priority. He is also very transparent about the case situation. I’d highly recommend him to my friends and family who need an ophthalmologist.
My optometrist referred me to Dr Reiss as I was having issues with my peripheral vision and found to have a retinal detachment. His bedside manner was great and although I was very nervous he helped me stay calm. The surgery was painless and went perfect and my vision was saved. Thank you so much as I owe my vision to you!
Unfortunately I had a very negative experience with this surgeon. He had very little if any compassion for my situation. He did not care that it was possible I would be legally visually disabled if I had the surgery he insisted was "absolutely necessary". His bedside manor with a 60 year old woman was unacceptable . It's okay to be matter of fact but I was threatened with things a person in his position has no business suggesting.
