Me and my daughter had an appointment with WellNow on 1/29/25. She needed a physical to be able to participate in school sports. We were greeted by a receptionist named Leslie st the 1600 Erie Blvd location in Syracuse N.y. This woman was so pleasant, informative and helpful all at the same time. The young woman who checked me in could see that I had some mobility issues and was very quick completing forms so I could sit down. She also assisted an opening doors for me when I went through to see the doctor. The doctor treating me was very gentle and reassuring. She prescribed me antibiotics and changed my dressing and explained that I should follow up with my doctor as soon as possible. I was only an urgent care for about two and a half hours.
Thanks to the WellNow team, especially NP Sheri Hill who was kind and helpful to me when I came in with back pain. She provided useful advice and medication, and made me feel a lot better than I had been feeling in weeks. Thank you Sheri!
The staff was so nice and friendly and professional and they made it so much easier than I thought it would be.... I went in to have Staples removed from my head and they were really decent about it and it didn't hurt that much and made me feel at ease.. from the first face to the last face.. they were awesome. I plan to order a nice Holiday gift for the staff there.
Mostly brushed off my symptoms, resulting in me needing an ER visit less than two days after my UC visit. They did no sickness testing, despite me being very obviously sick. Instead, they brushed it off as an asthmatic flare-up, which wasn't far off, however... I ended up having the flu. Would have known, had they done testing.
