The whole experience for me went well. From the speedy check in and friendly person at the counter. The NP who saw me was accurate, thorough, professional, personable, kind, and efficient. What more could you ask for? I am happy to know they are there when I need help fast! I do believe the NP was Ailin Martin. Great Job! Tina

Great care super fast and saved me a ton of money! My hand got shut in a door. I thought it was broken but not sure. My insurance costs $500 to go to the ER and $70 to go to an Urgent care. I called ahead of time and asked if they would be able to x-ray and care for me before I went in. They answered the questions they could over the phone and I was able to get in right away. Came from out of state to visit family & was feeling under the weather so I came to get tested. Arrived five minutes after the Urgent Care opened and was quickly greeted by the front office. The clerk was extremely efficient and kind. I was swiftly taken back to an exam room and quickly tested & examined. The nurse and PA were both professional, I have never been to an urgent care that was so well run. Clean facility and amazing staff.

Nurse staff was very friendly. However when the provider came in he was terrible. I understand that being a doctor is very stressful but he came in holding a phone and looked so rushed and was horribly inconsiderate of my condition. He looked at my test for the flu and then came back and touched my leg (without consent or telling me that he was going to for medical reasons) multiple times and told me that I don't have the flu. The coordination of the medical staff with what our insurance covered was non-existent. The patient went in for what was thought to be a UTI. First test came back negative. Dr ordered 4 additional tests with outside labs which is fine. However, two of those labs were "out of network" for our BC/BS coverage. Those two tests cost us $756.00. When we challenged the billing people with Wellnow they said there is nothing they can do. As a result, I will not recommend this Lockport facility to anyone. Well, apparently Well Now read my review, as they put an entry in saying they'd like to hear from me. I clicked in their link, answered some questions, basically rewrote my Yelp review, but no one ever got back to me. So...seems Well Now is all talk, no action.

I would give zero stars if I could. During a recent visit, the behavior of one of the providers came across as very creepy and unprofessional, making the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe. If you're a woman, I'd strongly recommend considering another option before coming here. Conduct, care, and overall experience was extremely disappointing to say the least. I will never go to or recommend this or any other WellNow location, especially for women or those who already have a distrust towards medical environments.
