I went today and it was a terrible experience! I called ahead to be sure they were able and had means to help with emergency poison ivy in face, eyes, nose throat etc.. I was instructed they did have the shot/ medicine. I've been in a similar situation years ago but not this bad and they gave me a shot. my son had this happen as well and this place took care of him. when I arrived they said they were closing early. when I expained that I called and they had told me to come, I just needed poison ivy care and shot. it was in m... read more

Med check is great. But. We had some important tests run for our 2 y/o son at the end of last week. Med check called with results today but we missed the call. We called right back- but their automated system (which is the same nationwide) is broken, hanging up on us no matter the response. Every time. We had to send a friend to physically go to the clinic since we were out of state for the nurse to call us back with results. I have been to this Urgent Care several times and love it, except for yesterday when I went in was a terrible experience. I went in for a possible ear infection, which turned out not the be the case. My provider wanted to swab me for strep, and I declined; I have a strong gag reflex, and was not expecting to have that done during the visit. After I refused, her whole demeanor changed towards me, which i get she wanted to help me, but I don't feel like she respected my wishes.
