Girlfriend went in and was refused service by the receptionist because she didnt show her having insurance. When my girlfriend checked, both before AND after her visit, Medicaid was active despite what the receptionists system showed. It was unclear on why the receptionist couldn't offer care unless forced to pay up front to be put on a waiting list to be seen today. I went today and it was a terrible experience! I called ahead to be sure they were able and had means to help with emergency poison ivy in face, eyes, nose throat etc.. I was instructed they did have the shot/ medicine. I've been in a similar situation years ago but not this bad and they gave me a shot. my son had this happen as well and this place took care of him. when I arrived they said they were closing early. when I expained that I called and they had told me to come, I just needed poison ivy care and shot. it was in m... read more

Med check is great. But. We had some important tests run for our 2 y/o son at the end of last week. Med check called with results today but we missed the call. We called right back- but their automated system (which is the same nationwide) is broken, hanging up on us no matter the response. Every time. We had to send a friend to physically go to the clinic since we were out of state for the nurse to call us back with results. I have been to this Urgent Care several times and love it, except for yesterday when I went in was a terrible experience. I went in for a possible ear infection, which turned out not the be the case. My provider wanted to swab me for strep, and I declined; I have a strong gag reflex, and was not expecting to have that done during the visit. After I refused, her whole demeanor changed towards me, which i get she wanted to help me, but I don't feel like she respected my wishes.
