I had brought my daughter in the day before Thanksgiving. The front desk attendant was so polite and efficient! Zada, our check in nurse was very personable and smiley! She answered all of our questions and took her time to assess my daughter. The Dr. showed real concern for my daughter and walked us through her diagnosis and at home care in great detail! We were checked in and seen quickly and didn’t have to wait! I am so grateful they were working the day before Thanksgiving and we had a great experience!
Dr Lavin is really good!!! I went in for concerns on one thing and came out with knowledge and more resources for a recent severe/rare diagnosis unrelated to this concern warranting a visit. The downside is the wait time. I scheduled an appointment and still waited upwards to 2 hours. They only had 1 person working the front desk so it took about 30-40 minutes to check in from the time I got there (which was at my appointment time).
Do not, and I repeat, do NOT come here. They do not care about your time or getting people going. I had an appointment at 9:50am. It was for a pre-employment drug screening. I arrived 15 minutes early like it was asked to in my email. I checked in and sat down. Several people went up multiple times asking when they were going to be seen since their appointment time had come and gone. Usually this urgent care is halfway decent. However, today, not so much. It’s 25 minutes past there opening time and there’s still a key lock wrapped around the front door. There’s people out here waiting saying they have scheduled appointments. At least communicate with those who are outside waiting that you all are running late/behind on things and give an estimate as to when you’ll decide to actually open.
The PA and nurse were great. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the front desk and billing. They required a $40 "copay" before I could be seen, despite the fact that my insurance plan does not have copays, and I have already reached my annual deductible. They acted like it was a computer system problem and suggested submitting it to my insurance for reimbursement.
