Fast service. Dr. Rob and the staff were exceptional. It was a Sunday and I was an out of towner. They helped me TRY to find an open pharmacy on a Sunday night. Good luck in Latham. Even Walmart was closed. Dr. Rob came through with medication so I didn't need a pharmacy until I fly home. It will be waiting for me! Thank you!
My elderly brother fell and injured his big toe. We drove to Wellnow Urgent Care in Latham and were pleasantly surprised when Alexis showed us back to be treated. That's definitely a first for us most doctors' offices / clinics make you wait. Alexis was friendly, concerned and efficient. She was very gentle.Then Dr. Janine came in. THEY HAVE A SLUSHY MACHINE!!!!!! Right off the bat that is just like a 10/10 experience. Then I puked in a trash can in the patient room and they were so nice about it. I would say this is the best urgent care they have slushys and their staffs are like moms with warm hugs but socially distanced of course due to covid. Make sure book an appointment online.
Great experience here! Super quick, there was no wait when I got there. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would not hesitate to go back if the need arises!
First, the receptionist was terrific. She was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to like the job. Unfortunately, my 11:30 AM appointment was running late. At 12:20 PM, I asked her if it would be much longer. She said I was up next to go into an exam room, but there were six people ahead of me in six exam rooms, and it would be at least a couple of hours before I was taken care of because there's only one medical person (doctor? Literally worst urgent care experience of my life. Spent 75 dollars and was there for almost 4 hours just for the doctor to tell me there was nothing wrong with me and that I needed to relax and then found out days later from lab results that I had a serious problem. Then when I tried calling them to get prescribed antibiotics the lines were always busy no matter what time of day ( I called 10+ times) and they NEVER called me back. The absolute slowest staff I have ever seen for an urgent care. Not kind or warm to patients. Don't care about you waiting for over an hour when you have a "slot". Unapologetic.
Visited at 510pm appointment and thought experience would be satisfactory. Went to pharmacy to pick up prescription and they did nit receive. This is where it turns for the worst.. tried calling and phone system is an AI generated answering process, ask for manager, call again say I'm a provider and nothing. I get in electronic cue and get fisconnectedbetwwn 7pm and 8pm to try to get script for my infection. I sent a student over who needed stitches. We called to make sure a doctor would be available and that they were aware the family needed an interpreter. We were told it would be fine. We set up transportation and sent the child over. They were not seen but sent to another well now and they did not get a translator either. Then the person who called me told me they had arrived too late to get services which was a lie. Way to be compassionate and helpful.
