I went in experiencing a bad cough for more than a week that I could not get rid of with regular OTC meds and in the past I had same issue and know what I needed. Reception and nurse taking vitals were very nice and the Doctor (PA) was great. He listened to my concerns and examined me and took my recommendations of what I’ve been placed on previously and ordered the same with no issues and felt was in my best interest so I know what has and hasn’t worked. Facilities were clean, if not cozy. Staff knowledgeable. I was treated like a real person. Felt cared for and seen. Like a family friend, even, once I was in the examining room. Treatment worked (which is most important). I waited more than I wanted to with an appointment, but not too long where I wondered if they forgot me. (Just know appointments aren't guaranteed. They did have a screen showing the order in which I was expected to be seen.)
I was very pleased on how I was treated as a patient. Everyone Scott(Provider) Alyssa(Nurse) Cheyenne(Reception) Sydney(PCT) Katerina(PCT) took excellent care of me. It wasn’t a long wait no longer than 15 minutes. Scott was thorough in asking questions about my medical history and how I was feeling. I will definitely tell friends and family of how WellNow Urgent Care is a great place to visit when you are not feeling well.
I unfortunately had to visit the Latham WellNow Urgent Care twice in the month of December for illness. Having been to other urgent care providers in the past with family members, I was extremely happy with the service I was provided here. The entire team was friendly and efficient. I was incredibly impressed. I felt horrible and they made my visit quick and painless. My needs were met and my visit was above average in every way.
