I sent a student over who needed stitches. We called to make sure a doctor would be available and that they were aware the family needed an interpreter. We were told it would be fine. We set up transportation and sent the child over. They were not seen but sent to another well now and they did not get a translator either. Then the person who called me told me they had arrived too late to get services which was a lie. Way to be compassionate and helpful.
Awful place. If you are sick don't come here. They gave me a hard time about insurance. Because I didn't have my insurance card on me.
This place is always disappointing. Staff is so unprofessional and unfriendly. Have they ever heard that customers count. Not sure . Every time I call or visit I am overlooked and put on hold. When you walk in staff don't acknowledge you and are huddled at computer attempting to fix a mess one of them did while the patient is standing in front of them. Wellnow.com website quotes Covid test at $100 in New York State. I was charged $150 because of the $50 "visit charge". They have no doctors, there was no visit, it's a testing only location and yet they had the nerve to collect an additional $50.
Do not go here for care. Nurse Practitioner Lindsay Bishop COMPLETELY misdiagnosed my wife's medical condition on a recent visit. She sent her home with no medication, assuring her that her severe cough was nothing! After a week of coughing and a severe sore throat that only got worse, she went to see our family physician, who diagnosed her condition as a bad sinus infection and immediately prescribed antibiotics.
