Everything is going well and we have had no complaints. It has been a good experience and so far they are taking very good care of my loved one.
We chose WellQuest because they were recommended to us. It was a new facility when we toured and we were impressed with it. They just got a new activities director and the activities are really starting to ramp up. My mom was in memory care and the food was not great, now she is in assisted living and the food is much better quality. The only thing that sucks is getting here, traffic can be bad during certain times of the day. It is a fairly good place, but if you have a loved one in memory care visit often. They did not have enough people to give the extra care. I had a tough call with the gal running the place. My mom was discharged from the hospital late and I called to advise them of this, but when she got to the home the emt took a reading of her oxygen level and since it was low and the home did not have any for her, she was taken back to the hospital. We've had a good experience at WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. It's a great place - the facility is clean always. The staff is great. Just don't like how expensive it is.
We toured with WellQuest of Menifee Lakes and it felt more like a sales meeting. The Wellquest environment was sterile and expensive. Who cares about marble, chandeliers, high ceilings? Not me. Not my parents. It was not a good fit for us.
The cleanliness, medication management and variety of activities could be greatly improved. That's why I found another place for her. Truly the industry needs attention. It's common, apparently, to not give care as promised, poorly trained staff, crappy food etc for exorbitant rates. They should all be ashamed
The WellQuest of Menifee Lake is an elegant top of the line community, everything is very well done, and it looks new. Now it is very expensive so if you are able to afford the community we would recommend this community to other families. So far we have heard no issues with the meals and there are plenty of activities going on almost every day.
The facility is definitely the most modern of those I've seen. My only issue is that all services are a la cart and very pricey. But - lots of activities, very clean and very friendly.
The meals and dining service right now seem to be their biggest struggle, but WellQuest is a beautiful community. When we went to tour it was brand new at the time which is always nice, the location is very convenient for our family. It is a well established community
