My mother has gotten excellent care at Wesley Ridge. I know that the staff personally strive to make the residents comfortable. Starting with Amy Shaffer, who made sure Mom was happy with her room, answered all our questions and still checks in with her to see that everything is going well to the nurses and caregivers who are patient with all the residents and always smile at me and say hello when I come to visit. I was in rehab at the Wesley Ridge Barnes Center for more than 2 months. The nurses, caregivers and therapy departments staff became like "family". Shortly after rehab, I learned I could no longer live alone. Because of my experience at The Barnes Center, I didn't hesitate to reside in Assisted Living at Bishop Place.
Very Pleasant (Derby Dinner). Young men and women are very helpful, polite, and willing to please. Fun time. Meal was delicious, thank you.
The staff at the Wesley Ridge truly care about each and every resident. My mother-in-law has been there since September 2014 and she loves the staff there. Everyone that works there shows patience and respect for the residents as well as their family members. Our family is truly blessed to have the Wesley Ridge in our lives!
This is a wonderful place to live. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and level of maintenance is excellent!

My Mom has lived in her apartment in the Parkside building for 3 years. She is almost 90 & likes it there. They have many organized activities including a movie theater that show movies catered to the older generation, exercise classes, etc. They have a van that takes them shopping to various nearby stores on a weekly basis. They even took her on a field trip to the Dayton Air Force museum. She eats in the common dining area with all her friends & chats. The food is pretty good. Very nice facility. My mother is treated very well. I will say though that the food is pretty bad and she complains about it constantly. I have eaten there myself and I have to agree with her. Other than that we have no complaints.
