He has done 3 root canals for me. He is great. I would definitely tell you to have Nitrousoxide thats the gas. Didn't feel a thing. Great doctor
Dr. Mastro took the time to explain the procedure and possible outcomes. He was personable, which is hard to find these days. After the root canal he explained everything he did and was patient to answer all of the questions I had. He is confident of his work, yet thorough.

He was totally painless. He surprised me because everyone told me root canals hurt. He teaches or taught in Columbia University I think. He did do a great job. Totally recommend him

Very friendly staff. My root canal experience was surprisingly great. I am scared of the dentist but Dr. Mastromihalis was very friendly. He explained the whole procedure to me. The root canal went smoothly and I am so happy to be out of pain.
Dr Mastro is very thorough in his explanation. I trusted him and he steered me right. He saved my tooth and he didn't hurt me. Not sure how old he is but I would say late 40s.
I read his reviews and indeed he is painless. If you need a root canal definitely see him. Great office staff.
