Dr Shipley corrected my double vision just like she said she would
My cataract surgeon Dr Polomski and his staff put me at ease with their professionalism and expertise from the moment I had my first appointment through the two procedures and aftercare! I would highly recommend Dr. Polomski to anyone ready to have cataract surgery! He's tops! The surgery itself has been life-changing as I am a professional oil landscape artist and my world has become bright , colorful and beautiful again!
Dr. Pickens has been my doctor for approximately 8 years- shortly after I moved to Southport. I find him to be very competent and detailed and I have an eye condition. My other half also goes to him, as well as other family members and they feel as I do! I trust my eyesight to Dr. Pickens and highly recommend him to others whenever I can!
Dr. Pickens is personable, responsive, and attentive. He is responsive to questions and takes the time to ensure I understood what I needed to know. I felt he was genuinely concerned about my eyes and I was very satisfied with the evaluation and post-operative follow up he performed.

At my age I have been to a number of different doctors. Dr. Leone rates in the very top. She explains everything completely and listens carefully. I never felt rushed with her. Her friendliness is a welcome change from many doctors! She knows how to relate to people. I felt she saw me as not just another patient but also as a person. Her confidence and calm manner in explaining the surgery allowed me to go into it with no concerns or unnecessary worries. I can not recommend her enough!
I had a follow up eye appointment. I was in very good hands. Christine Garvin was very patient and kind. Ashlee was very helpful with all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Leone; she took such good care of me, I felt like family.
Dr Leone is fantastic! She did my cateract surgery and corrected the astigmatism.The results are amazing. It is obvious that she is a dedicated professional while being very empathetic.
