I don't know what is taught there for addicts to have hope, but I can tell you in three weeks my son was someone different. He went in with the attitude to be helped and wanted help and all Ive seen is hopelessness.I took the advice of my doctor to send him there.Never again!!!!!!! I will continue to trust GOD in making him better.

My son was exposed to Covid there. When they found out he had Covid symptoms, they discharged him onto the streets knowing he lived seven hours away and knew no one in Wilmington. The nurse, Micah, basically told me he wouldnt help and hung up me. If this is the level of care they give a young man who is voluntarily there to get help, then they have some serious issues.

Do NOT send your family here. We admitted our elderly, medically fragile family member 4 days ago. They are refusing to give us information (we are medical release contacts) and no one will even call us back. When you actually get a human on the phone (good luck!) they are rude and basically say they have no idea how to help. There is no way to contact any sort of supervisor and my understanding is they do not have a practice manager. At this point, we feel our family member may be being mistreated and are contacting attorne... read more

quit stealing the envelopes with patients wallet contents. credit cards, cash, drivers license. insurance cards etc. they stole 3 in two days. many more I'm sure. when I asked why they didn't have a security camera in the valuables area and I was told by upper management it was none of my business. they took my money as well as the other items mentioned. I now have a police file number on the case.

The nurse, “Z” & the rest of the staff (aside from very few) are a complete joke. It’s a complete nightmare at this place. Wilmington Treatment Center is the PERFECT example that a degree doesn’t mean anything!

the assistant director and staff show favoritism, and only make decisions based on how good your insurances is and how much money they can get out of you! extremely disgusted, and moved by the professionalism that is lacking; even the kitchen manager that has a degree but never cooks the foods right, under or over cooked. they never announce to residents when a Corona virus outbreaks.

Please think twice before sending your loved one here especially if they are dual diagnosis. I was hopeful that WTC had made improvements in their program in the last several years (my son was there three years ago and it was terrible as well). I could go into to great detail about his treatment while at WTC but in a nutshell there was NO TREATMENT. He was left in the detox side for 20 days. They assured me he could have his mood stabilizing meds while there and most were not given to him. He takes sleeping medicine to ... read more
