I recently started taking my dogs here after my vet retired. I used the urgent care first and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was and affordable. Based on my good experience I then took one of my dogs for a routine appt with Dr Johnson. It went very well. I took my other dog today. She is very fearful and has to be muzzled. Dr Johnson listened to my concerns and worked with me to make her experience a good one. Everyone who worked with Dr Johnson today was fantastic. Dr. Smith and his staff provided total peace of mind for me. My previous vet, made just going in their office a stressful event for my dog....and me. Windrose has the knowledge, communication and compassion to make both my dog and me feel at ease. Ty!!!

I've always had positive experiences at Windrose, but I wanted to update my review based on my very recent experiences. If you don't read this entire review, just know that they truly saved my two dogs. They are the most compassionate staff, communicate above and beyond, and really care about our pets. In January 2023, my 9 month old puppy was very sick and so we took him in for a visit. Unfortunately, he needed to have emergency blockage surgery that evening. Left my old vet after 10+ years. I felt so guilty until I realized how wonderful this practice treats us. I went in not trusting the situation, feeling guilty, and nervous because my dog's eye were infected. This practice won me over in 15min. Plus, they called to follow up on my dogs condition. My other vet NEVER called to check on my dogs. Great decision to switch into this practice. Nancy Grech

Windrose is the best and I would never take my dogs anywhere else. They are so accommodating when our dogs are sick. We always get reminders for checkup and vaccinations. Dr. R.J. was the first Vet I ever met who walked in the examination room, shook my hand to greet me and immediately sat down on the floor with my elderly dog Daisy to see how "she" was doing!

We recently got a puppy, and I did quite a bit of research before choosing a vet. Dr. Skalos and his staff are phenomenal. They got right down on the floor with our pup, patiently answered my long list of questions, and ran efficiently on schedule. We had our first issue on a Sunday no less. The text line worked like a charm, and they squeezed me in on Monday morning. Highly recommend them!!

Dr. Skalos and his staff were wonderful. This was my first time with a new veterinarian. They all treated my very scared 18 year old cat with kindness and care. Dr. Skalos followed up the next day to see how the cat was feeling. He is very sincere and you can sense the love he and his staff have for our pets. I would highly recommend Windrose Animal Hospital.

We could not be more pleased with Dr. Skalos and staff. I called today with a very sick kitty and they very generously squeezed us in same day. The office is lovely and spotless and comfortable. Dr. S and his staff were sitting on the floor interacting with my very scared cat and were just kind and gentle beyond words. They did not pressure us, they offered a clear and concise treatment plan and didn't make us feel judged if we declined any part of it. First time visit. Dr was great. Staff also amazing from the second we walked in. Took great care of our dog who we brought for an ear infection.
