My dear husband was taken to Westgate House Care Centre for twenty-four-seven care. Very nice room we found for him. Staff were very kind and cared about him with support him. So kind and nice to me and my family when we went to see him.

Westgate House gave me a safe and caring place to recover from confusion and pain after an unplanned stay in hospital. Socialisation with other residents at meals and for physiotherapy daily during week days gave me motivation to preserve and progress to a level where I was able to return home. I would like to thank all the caring staff at Westgate House.

I was in Westgate House Care Centre for 11 weeks from April until July. The carers were all extremely kind, helpful and friendly. The cleaners were also very pleasant people. The exercise classes helped me to strengthen my muscles and directly afterwards we all went to have lunch. This made a nice group to chat to and I felt part of the everyday life in the home. On Friday afternoons I was taken outside for activities when the weather was good which I found very uplifting.

My experience of the service has been excellent. It was caring, considerate, helpful and kind. I was especially grateful to the staff in assisting when two groups of visiting family members from the USA, they made both occasions memorable for me and my darling husband. Both groups we had not seen for many years, over 40 years for the first group and 12 years for the second.

My mum stayed at Westgate House Care Centre for rehabilitation for four weeks after having a fall at home. She was cared for by fantastic carer staff at Westgate, who were friendly, efficient and communicative with her. She enjoyed her stay and made a really good recovery. Everyone working at Westgate was lovely and very caring. It is a great place for rehab. Thank you, Westgate.

Excellent care and kindness in support of my mother’s rehabilitation. Accommodation and food quality was of a high standard. Staff are friendly and demonstrate passion and enjoyment in their work. Only observation for potential improvement is greater encouragement and support for participation in the programme of daily events and activities.
