I am moving on….the office management is poor and very frustrating. The doctor completed medical school but lacks severely in any follow up. Also speaks to you as though she is reading a medical journal. No people skills. A poor communicator and shows no authentic interest in you as a patient. We have many choices in our healthcare physicians. This doctor should not be one of them. Keep looking!
I had a semi emergency in which i needed a colonoscopy and endoscopy ASAP. I call on Monday and the front office scheduled me for Thursday. Awesome. Wednesday comes around and they call me and tell me my appointment is off because i don’t have a stool test on file. I tell them it’s urgent and they say they’ll call me right back. They don’t. Thursday comes and i call them, but they don’t answer. No communication, no call back, no nothing. I end up a week behind with no idea what is going on.
The worst gastro I have ever had. And her assistant Courtney is just as bad or worse. She's indifferent, arrogant and hostile if you ask a question she doesn't like. She wouldn't prescribe a drug I was on for 8 years that healed me from colitis. I set up an appointment for a colonoscopy and four days before the event I still didn't have the prep from the pharmacy and no instructions. She never answers your email. She never explains about your case, your treatment. She is the worst doctor I have ever met. Wasting your time and your money.
Unprofessional doctor I started seeing Dr. Karim beginning of 2019. I had painful symptoms that’s been interfering with my daily life. Because she wasn’t able to diagnose for 7 months, I had to live with severe discomfort and pain. Also I’d like to add that she has bad bedside manners and comes across as rude and unpleasant.
Dr. Karim is knowledgeable and does thorough testing. However, I would not recommend her as a doctor. She does not appreciate having to answer questions from her patients. She also does not get back to patients in a timely manner.
My experience with Dr. Karim was disappointing and a waste of time. For an initial consultation, I was charged over $300 for her to tell me that she can't diagnose anything or even give me any tips until I had an endoscopy. After the $3k+ procedure, she says there is nothing but some irritation. But she wants to set up another $300 consultation to talk about it. No thanks. And, zero bedside manner as well.
If there is any rating lower than this then I would prefer to provide. in my initial visit, she never did spoke a word , never did any kind of physical tests on me to understand the problem , never asked any probing questions related to the problem I was facing. All she did was just make me talk and finally told me to do endoscopy. We already knew that the endoscopy had to be done .. but we went to the doctor thinking there might be some other alternatives. After couple of weeks got a fat bill.
