Dr. Patel is amazing! He’s truly a caring Doctor. I had to have a surgical procedure and I was extremely nervous. After speaking with Dr. Patel, I was very confident going into surgery and he’s been there for ALL of my questions and concerns. Surgery went very well and Dr. Patel made sure I was taken care of post surgery. As well, his assistant, Roman Martinez did an amazing job to ensure my communication with Dr. Patel was seamless and timely. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Patel.
Despite all the bad comments from others, I particularly have had very good experiences with Dr. Patel I had three surgeries that he attended the first an emergency diverticulitis doing a colostomy, then removed the colostomy and the last removed my gallbladder and I did not have any problem or complication during or after the surgery that for me is the most important thing, from his staff both in his office and helpers I have no complaint therefore for me he is an excellent surgeon.
New what to discuss of what was to be done to remove polyp . 2 previous colonocopys done but neither of them explained how serious this procedure was.
Great doctor! Dr. Patel is extremely friendly and professional and did a fantastic job with my surgery! Definitely would recommend him to friends and family.

After reading his reviews i didnt expect to have such a great experience. I am 8 days post op from a hemmoroidectomy and i must say i had a wonderful recovery. Dr. Patel and his staff have been wonderful. The overall procedure itself was a painful journey but compared to others i know my surgery and recovery were top notch. I do agree he is not much of a people person but in my opinion that doesnt matter. Its the quality of work and care you receive. Hes very straightforward. I highly recommend
Very talented Doctor but you can see by his work history he has a short fuse and a gigantic ego. Great Great man but has no people skills what so ever. This is the best surgeon in town but you will pay for it with extreme lack of respect for patients and decent common courtesy. When it comes down to it and you need your life saved he is the man but do not expect to be treated with good customer service by the doctor or his staff.
My husband and I tried to make an appt with his office to discuss my sister's care since she was too weak and sick to go into his office for examination and we were told by his staff that "he's just the surgeon, if she's in the hospital, they need to page him if they need a consult"… when I told the surgeon this, he denied that anyone on his staff would say that. I've talked to a lot of dr.'s over the years and this guy is the most arrogant piece of work you will ever encounter. My sister died today, 6 months after her surge... read more
God complex. Horrible bedside manner. I was told "Well, I do this for a living" (was referring to my primary care physician who isn't a surgeon); when asked why another doctor had different observations at a previous appointment. Sarcastic. Horrible experience. I feel sorry for the medical students interning under Dr. Patel.
