I’m gonna keep it short and sweet, the mental and physical abuse me and so many other kids here experienced was unforgivable. There’s a special place for all the people responsible of the traumatic experiences we all endured.
As I sit here (41 yrs old) watching a documentary called "The Program" I am reminded of the times I was locked in facilities like Youth Care. I was 12 years old and struggling with issues dumped on me by my parents at too young of an age. While at this facility we were transported to UNI for AA and NA. During one of these visits I was touched by another person inappropriately and told a staff member when we returned and I felt it was safe to do so. Fuck this place. I hope this place gets shut down. I was forced to go there and it was terrible. Always fighting, shitty staff, and the staff dont believe the kids. please dont send your child here. Way more trauma. 🖕🖕🖕🖕
