the product quality does not hold up The product quality is inferior to what it was 10 years ago.
Do not buy Although this was claimed to be from the original manufacturer and "genuine" it would not stay on my sweep for more than 10 minutes, unless I secured it with duct tape. I contacted the vendor and they first wanted pictures and the shipping label and then wanted me to contact Polaris. The combination of a high price for a product that doesn't work and an impossible return policy made this a terrible experience.
Part defective Ordered the exact vacuum bag for the Polaris 360 as the bag to be replaced. Everything is identical however the new bag has inner facing connector arms (when compared to my existing part) so when installed to the base of the Polaris 360, it will not lock in. Therefore this brand new bag is unusable.
Much thinner and flimsier than the original The part is very thinner than the one I have, I have not installed it and hope to return it, I want something similar to the one I have now.
Won’t stay on my Polaris 360 I’ve used this bag for my Polaris 360 for about a week now and its come detached about every other day. Which wouldn’t be the end of the world except it then empties its collected debris back into the pool only to be sucked up again and then blown back into the pool. For this quality, I would have been better off with a cheaper Chinese knock off
Part wouldn’t fit It was an original Polaris 380 part but would not fit my 380 Polaris. I was refunded for the part but if you have an older version a heads up it may be too small and won’t click and the bag stay on
Plastic clip bad The plastic clip to the base kept popping off, had to switch with my old skimmer bag. Seems to be working now.
Defective Pool Bag Would be zero starts if that were an option! Plastic tabs that connect bag to sweep housing failed after several days of use, and would not hold bag on housing. Problem is made worse by the POORLY aligned velcro tab on the back that secures bag to hose. Because the alignment is off it "pulls" the bag while in use popping the poorly designed plastic tabs right off. Not a good purchase This bag seemed sturdy when I unpacked it. It snapped in perfectly. Noticed the velcro fastener was a little snug and took some effort to secure it around the hose. Bag ripped within a couple of weeks with nothing more than leaves in the bag.
