Not a good purchase This bag seemed sturdy when I unpacked it. It snapped in perfectly. Noticed the velcro fastener was a little snug and took some effort to secure it around the hose. Bag ripped within a couple of weeks with nothing more than leaves in the bag.
polaris vaccuum bag I search on Amazon for Polaris 280 bag and got this. We were excited and went to replace our bag. It was the wrong size. when I called the sender they said that was the one I ordered. I specifically typed the product I wanted and didn't realize another product came up. Because I opened the bag the sender will not take it back.
Not a real Zodiac/Polaris bag Despite the photo showing a Polaris logo, these are not Polaris/Zodiac bags. They are generic bags. I purchased these based on the appearance of the logo in the photo, which indicated to me that these were genuine OEM bags. I've had bad experiences with generic Polaris bags before: The Velcro-like substitute degrades much more quickly in the sun and chlorine of the pool than the Velcro of the OEM bags.Having been deceived, I returned the bags.
Picks up leaves, not sand and silt This bag will pick up the larger items such as leaves and twigs, but it does not keep the sand and silt in for emptying like the last bag we had. I would not recommend buying this item if you get any type of sand or dirt in your pool because this bag is useless for that purpose.
Does not fit 360 A mistake is being made. It looks like they were shipping the correct bag at some point in the past but, as pointed out by someone last year, the picture of the bag currently shown is not the bag that was shipped and it does not fit the Polaris 360. The clips (meaning the tabs that are shown at the very bottom in the pic. They are supposed to snap into place on the Polaris) on that bags that came are ovular rather than the rectangular clip I need.
