Pool Cleaner Bag Replacement I went to my local pool supply store for the pool cleaner bag (accumulates and gathers leaves and dirt) and their price for the same item was exactly twice the price plus sales tax. I find it amazing how much profit retailers want to make off of the public. Needless to say, I will be buying ALL of my pool supplies online. Its okay I would rather have had the zipper. Leaves, hair, dirt and such gets stuck in the velcro when dumping the bag.
Not from Polaris The bags clearly say Polaris in the ad - but what was shipped was not a Polaris bag. The plastic attachment collar is made of substandard material. I will not buy again...
Affordable alternative! Leslie's has replacement Polaris pool cleaner bag's for $39.99 EACH! They only last about 3 months if I'm lucky so was wanting a more affordable alternative. I got 2 generic bags for much less than 1 factory Polaris bag. They look and feel identical to the factory bag.
Works better than non-Polaris replacement bags for me I bought the popular replacement bag not sold by Polaris here on Amazon and while the customer service was awesome, it never worked right. As soon as the sweep turned off it would dump much of the debris bag down through the sweep and into the pool. Unlike the official Polaris bag, there is no stitching to separate the collection portion of the bag from the portion that connects to the sweep. This was a critical issue. Good price I usually need a new bag every year because of the amount of harsh debris I get in my pool. Buying it here is about half the price as Leslie Pool. The only bummer is that it came with a hose clip that is too small and I had already thrown my old one out.
Works well I like these velcro ones better than the bags with zippers. I run my cleaner every day for a few hours, these have historically lasted about 1-2 seasons. I keep two on hand to switch back and forth.
Velcro . . . NOT Zipper This is a genuine Polaris part that fits perfectly. However, the bag has a Velcro closure and not a zipper closure like the original bag. If you are not careful, debris tends to get stuck in the Velcro when you are emptying the bag. If you need the bag with a zipper, do a search for Polaris part # 9-100-1021. However, they cost almost twice as much as this bag.
Polaris velcro bag, good if you have an air compressor After reading many of these reviews on various bags from different manufacturers , including the OEM bag, it seems like people are trying to clean this with a hose. I have about 8 of these 360 bags, mostly Polaris, but a few off brands. The off brand velcro doesn't seem to hold very well and will sometimes burst loose leaving all the junk it's picked up blown back in your pool.
