it keeps getting stuck on the main drain and I've tried changing the direction and other things numerous times and I cannot keep it off the main drain. Also this is probably not really something wrong with the vacuum but I have tiny little sycamore round pods didn't get stuck in the narrow intake slot and the zodiac quits running when that happens. I think this would be an excellent vacuum for people who don't have any trees near their pool and who can control the main drain and turn it off when vacuuming.

To assist with your main drain issue, we suggest the following: 1) Use return jets to guide the cleaner away from the main drain. 2) Install a Unibridge on your main drain (P/N 5820 white, 5825 gray, 5830 blue). I have had nothing Good luck with the Zodiac, when the time comes again I will buy another one.
So far, it performed as advertised. Only used it twice. It would be nice if it came with a complete manual!

Replaced an 3-4 year old Pentair Kreepy Krauly that was starting to break down. The G3 seems to operate more aggressively than the Kreepy Krauly with fuller sweeps of my pool.
We purchased the Zodiac yesterday. Instructions to assemble were poor. There were no instructions as to connect to skimmer or filter-only parts. Parts were labelled, but not instructions what to do with them. There was some info online.

My pool is 18 x 36 with a shallow end and deep end. The deep end is fine. The shallow end and corners in shallow end are usually the spots missed that have to be brushed.
The Zodiac pool vacuum works very well in the shallower (4’) areas of the pool but does not completely clean the 8 foot deep section. It cleans most of it but not all even after letting it run for 8 hours.
useless crap ,cleans the same 10% over and over and and leaved the other 90% of your pool filthy dirty and there is nothing you do will change this pattern
