The Zodiac MX8 was easy to set up and operate. It does a great job at cleaning the bottom of our fiberglass pool. The pool does have a screen enclosure but small debris does get into the pool after heavy rain from thunderstorms. It does not climb the walls of the fiberglass pool which I was hoping for. I have experimented with the RPM of the variable speed pump and the suction from the dedicated suction port and the skimmer, but have been unsuccessful to date. The MX 8 is terrific! It runs the pool great and keeps it clean. However we have a preformed fiberglass pool. It will not climb the walls, it tries to but just can’t overcome the sharp curve at the bottom of the pool to the wall. So no wall cleaning bottom only. My other pool cleaner would always get stuck on the pool inlet covers on the side at bottom in the deep end and always had to free it up. The MX 8 takes care of itself, Other than that it has been a month and does a really good job !

It's great so far! Only issue is that we can't get it to climb the wall up to the tile line. Other than that which is something we need to work on with pool pump, Love it! Just waiting for my leaf catcher.
