My pool supply company had convinced me to change brands for vacuums so I did. The vacuum works great and the process to get the rebate was easy. Now it will be a wait and see to see how long it lasts.

On sale for $400 after the rebate. Used it 2x. Works very well. Using it in Florida and it picks up the silt on the bottom of the pool. Well worth the money so far.

Got the MX 8 Elite about three weeks ago to replace tho old disc type cleaner, best money I have ever spent in pool products. Last year we were constantly fighting sweeping, cleaning and the old cleaner never left the pool, with the MX 8 Elite we have not had to sweep and it spends more time out of the pool than in. If you are on the fence about an upgrade such as this please do yourself a favor and do it, you will spend much more time enjoying your pool rather than fighting it.
