I've owned multiple pools and bought nearly a dozen different pool cleaners over the past 15 years. The MX-8 is the best and mos reliable of the bunch, as well as being a much better $$ deal than most othe options.

This product is amazing. It goes to the top of my pool to clean. Moves very fast with the 1.5 hp pump. Cleans so good that i also cut down on the amount of times we need it on.
Only had it for about a month and used it about 4 times after the pool was built.My pool contractor advise me to use it while I am waiting to have my pool winterize . So far it is doing a great job cleaning the pool, it climbs the walls and stair with no problem. I have a 16x32 and only use 9 hoses. Its a great buy I would buy it again. Eric
I highly recommend the Zodiac MX8 Elite Suction Cleaner because of its overall design and cleaning performance. The Zodiac MX8 Elite cleaner has incredible reach capabilities; it climbs my pool’s Pebble Tec wall all the way up to the tile. Moreover, my pool has high profile drain covers that caused my previous pool cleaner to constantly get stuck – this is not the case with the Zodiac MX8 Elite cleaner.
Having had other pool cleaners, the Zodiac MX8 out performs them. The Zodiac does a superior job in cleaning the side and bottom of the pool without hanging up on the drain or corners of the pool. Its relatively quick and captures dirt everywhere within several hours of use. Could not be happier with its performance.
